YAY!!!

Okay, I was going to weight until next week to jump up on that scale but I couldn’t resist. I’m down 3 pounds!!! That’s awesome because I was only trying to lose 2 pounds and I lost 3. Very motivating for this next week!!!

End of the first week

Okay, so this is the end of my first week of the weightloss roller coaster. I won’t lie, I did falter a little bit… not too badly though. When you have 5 kids it’s a little bit harder to keep your eye on the prize instead of on that powdered donut they just chowed down on. BUT, I did good considering any other day I would have joined the kids on that donut eating binge… I just had HALF of one because there is absolutely no way on this green earth that that would not have driven me crazy. I have managed to take the kids to the pool this weekend and the snacks I brought for them and myself… I’m proud to say… we did NOT bring any candy or soda. I brought my huge bottle of water and Capri Sun Flavored Water for the kids and to snack… huge bag of baby carrots and pretzels. Okay, so the pretzels aren’t the greatest since they are pretty salty but it beats potato chips by far. I haven’t stepped on the scale or measured my inches yet… I think I’ll weight for next week for that. I don’t want to lose my motivation if nothing was lost. I have to keep my bearings and remember that those things don’t matter in the beginning… as long as I keep working it will start to pay off… I just have to jump back up and keep moving when I fall.
